2009 Budget

The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling, presented his second Budget to the House of Commons on 22 April 2009 following his Pre-Budget Report (PBR) on 24 November 2008, which was reviewed in the February 2009 Issue of European Taxation. This note deals with the Budget proposals not included in the PBR.
