An Analysis on Top Court Cases on Intra-Group Lending Finance Acquisition

This article analyses contradictory arbitral decisions by Portuguese courts on the deduction for tax purposes of interest on loans taken to acquire shares and the Supreme Court’s ruling refusing to harmonize the existing case law on the matter.
