Collective investment vehicles are used to take advantage of economies of scale, cost reduction and many (operational) efficiency gains, including decreasing administrative and monitoring burdens. This article focuses on cross-border collective investment vehicle structures implemented through the Netherlands, and, where appropriate, considers specific aspects in relation to derivative instruments.
