Japan’s Study on International Taxation in the Digital Economy: Fairness in Taxation, Trade and Competition

In August 2021, a report on international taxation in the digital economy was published by a study group established by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This article introduces this report and provides another perspective into the current global discussion on digital taxation.
